mitair for Android is ready — download the free APK
Air quality · exposure prevention

Measure the decision, not just the air.

mitair works out the pollution dose you'll actually breathe on today's trip — then names the one change that lowers it: leave later, reroute, or keep the kids inside.

The method

One loop — from a reading to a result.

Most tools stop at showing data. mitair runs the whole loop, and ends on a number that says how much its advice helped.

01

Detect

Live sensors and community photo reports flag pollution as it appears.

02

Predict

Wind and forecasts project where the air worsens — and who is downwind.

03

Explain

Each call shows its factors and confidence, to trust or to question.

04

Recommend

A specific action — delay, reroute, avoid a zone — ranked by effect.

05

Measure

The estimated drop in exposure, in percent, so advice stays accountable.

What's inside

A personal air twin, an incident engine, a community layer.

Your day, scored by the air you'll breathe

mitair adds up your real itinerary — the school run, the evening walk, the ride home — weighting each leg by how hard you breathe and how sensitive you are. One score, and you see which trips drive it.

  • A dose model, not a citywide average — it follows your route and activity.
  • "Reduce my exposure" ranks delay, reroute and reschedule by measured effect.

Incident-to-impact engine

A photo becomes a wind-mapped forecast

Report smoke or dust and mitair classifies it, then projects where the plume travels — flagging the schools and places in its path, with an arrival time.

Good to know

Questions.

Is it free?+
Yes. The Android app is free, and you can explore the map, forecasts and your exposure without an account. Signing in only adds cross-device sync for saved places, alerts and reports.
Which phones does the APK support?+
It's an Android build (Mitair.apk). The same app also runs as a responsive web version from the same codebase; this page ships the Android package.
Where does the air-quality data come from?+
Live air and weather from Open-Meteo (CAMS); maps, routing and search from OpenStreetMap. Per-coordinate values are labelled "Estimated", not presented as a physical sensor reading.
Is this medical advice?+
No. mitair gives environmental guidance to help you plan around pollution — it is not a diagnosis. Health-sensitivity profiles only change how cautious the advice is.
Do I need to enable anything to install it?+
Because the app is delivered as an APK rather than through a store, Android may ask you to allow installs from this source the first time. That prompt is normal for direct downloads.

Put mitair on your phone.

One file, no store, no account to look around. Install it and see today's exposure wherever you are.

Download Mitair.apk
01Tap Download on your Android phone.
02Open the file — if asked, allow installs from this source.
03Open mitair, search a city or use your location.
